    Prorate Rent?
We live in an apartment and our rent is 365 a month. In December we were out of electric for 8 days and the house was unliveable! It was 10 degrees outside and so we stayed at famalies. The landlord is still wanting the 365 for that month but we only gave her 300 cause I was out of work those days. Now 2 months later she wants the 65 dollars that are owed to her! Are we by law obligated to give her that now since we didn't live there for 8 days?

Who was at fault, if the landlord did not fix something they they could fix, then you could, if this was a "act of God" where the ultility company did not have power to your area, The landlord had no control over it, and normally can expect full rent.
