Blood in 4 week old puppies stool
My german shepard recently had 9 puppies about 4 weeks age and one of the puppies acts hyper and healthy but I noticed that it had a runny white mucus with blood in its stool. What does this mean? Is the puppie in danger for its life?:(

If you changed her food recently it could be a sloughing off an intestinal layer. However if there is active red blood in the next stool Vet attention should be sought asap.

I have an 8 week old chocolate lab that went to the doctor today with runny stool and he has a stomach virus and he was developing worms. The vet said that was also signs of parvo, food change, or eating types of poisonous plants. He put hopper on antibiotics and a dewormer. And gave him his second parvo shot to be safe. Hope this helps
