Nair product leaving bumpy pussing rash
    Hi,

I am 15 years old and have been recently thinking about getting into sexual intercourse with my girlfriend. I consider myself really hairy, and thought about how to get rid or the excess pubic hair I didn't want. Without seeking for help first, I went straight to the store and bought Nair women's, for legs and bikini area. I used it when I got home and the directions said leave it on the hair for 5 minutes and do not exceed 10.

I imagine that I exceeded the 10 minuted because I wanted to make sure the hair got off. As soon as I started to wipe the Nair lotion away, I got the burning sensation on my shaft. I immediately took a shower and washed everything away.

After I dried myself, I took a look at what actually burned, and I found that the tiny holes where my pubic hair was coming from on my shaft, were basically open. It was all red and burned when I touched it.

Now it is leaking yellowish whitish puss, and it still burns. This as been going on for 2 days now and I would like to know what I could do to help it calm itself down or stop it.

Thank you for reading and I hope to hear from someone a.s.a.p.

Wash well, then go to the doctor, you are probably having an allergic reaction to the chemicals. I would not recommend any depilatory cream, gel, spray, anything like that for anywhere near, well, anywhere, especially somewhere sensitive.

Thanks for replying, I really do not want to go to the doctors, but according to what you are saying, it looks like I should, what would they even do for me anyway?

They could give you something to help the swelling and inflammation down so it was not so painful and would stop pussing, but you could wait it out.

Thanks, I wanted to wait a while to see if it would calm down, and it did, a lot. Hair started to grow back, but there is still a mark where it was red and burning. It doesn't burn or puss anymore, it has just left almost a darker skin pigment where the redness was.

Does this mean anything, and will it go away? How long should I wait until I decide to remove more hair with wax strips?

It means that your skin is sensitive and you should not expose it to chemicals. The symptoms should go away after a while, but I would not suggest waxing unless you are going to a professional.
