    GE Squeaky Dryer.
I have bought a GE Dryer manufacturer date 07/03. Used of course, It won't stop making this high pitched squeaky noise. I tried belt dressing it doesn't work. Is there a bearing that needs to be greased or what?

At some point I had had it up to my, well nose, with second hand equipment. I thought it was the best way to go and found a really great guy in town who actually refurbished every appliance he sold and he was quite good. I got sick of it, not the quality but the look which was okay but not up to my previous standards.

Then I got smart and started buying all new appliances.

Sorry, not what you wanted to hear but had to say it. Pay for a local serviceman to get it done right and if the cost is prohibitive then go out and buy a new dryer and give yourself a pat on the back.

    Good luck
