Can we take her parental rights from her?
My wife has a cousin who likes having kids. She recently (sept) had her 5th child. She signed over custody to the child to us and has only seen the child about 6 times. DCF has taken all of her children and I am wondering if I should get a lawyer and have her parent rights taken. Cani do that? Ohh by the way she is/was on drugs and claims a mental disability to get disability checks.

Getting a termination of parental rights is not going to be easy, especially voluntary. But if you are willing to adopt the child and given her mental status as well as the fact the her other kids have been removed, you should be able to do it.
