    Tracking down childhood cartoons
I've been searching for cartoons I used to watch and one has been incredibly elusive.

I can't remember much but here is what I can remember...

It was a cartoon in the early-mid 90s.

The main characters seem to be a group of misfits/oddballs in some sort of space western with a very silly theme.

    It was definitely NOT bravestarr

I used to have a pirates of dark water comic that was a 2 in 1, where the ends of the 2 comics met in the middle and one was upside down and backwards (the back cover was the front cover of the other comic) the comic on the other side was based on this mystery cartoon.

I remember one very specific scene where the crew lands on some new planet/space station and they go to get something to eat at a cafeteria type place and a greasy looking guy behind the counter serves them some gross looking mush stuff out of "spigot #2" or something similar

Not much info to go on but any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks!

I don't think it was a cartoon but a movie called SpaceBalls with John Candy.

No, it was definitely a cartoon, I could see how the last part seems like the end of spaceballs though
