Where can I find power of attorney form
I need to find a simple power of attorney form, that I can have my husband sign so I can take out his 401k. I have a power of attorney but its not one stating specifically for 401k. Does anyone know where I can get the form at.

I am not to sure but I really think that if you are trying to take money out of an account from a bank you need to get the form from the bank and have your husband sign you on as the power of attorney for his accounts. You are better off talking to the bank about this situation they can better serve you. Sorry if I might be wrong but that's what I had to do before I went over seas. Hope I was a help to you.

Depending on the situation I do not believe you can use a P/A to withdraw money from someone's 401K - also depends on how the 401K is set up. You would have to ask the bank/investment company about their policy.

I know I had my husband's P/A for a long time, he was hospitalized, we discussed taking some money from his 401K for his expenses (not mine, and that is an issue with a P/A) - and I could not withdraw it when the time came that I needed it.
