    Gasoline Prices
How are you adjusting your expenses and/or lifestyle to deal with the "out of control" gasoline prices?

"...Still, things are not quite as bad as during the 1970s and 1980s oil shocks. In the early 1980s, at the height of the last energy crisis, energy accounted for about 8 percent of household spending. As prices fell and the economy became less energy-intensive, energy costs fell under 4 percent of household spending in the early 1990s." - Gas Prices Soar, Posing a Threat to Family Budget -The New York Times

Driving less and picking closer destinations for road trips, but all-in-all haven't changed much. Wish they would increase the mileage rate for driving expenses at work.

A friend of mine uses bio-diesel, gets the oil from a chinese restaurant. Costs is about $2 a gallon and it makes the exhaust smell like eggrolls... umm eggrolls.

I've budgeted more $$, about, $30-40/month, for gas.

Using the more fuel efficient car more than my truck. Planning errands better.

If gas were to gain another buck, id probably look for a diff vehicle or pick up a motorcycle... hmmm.. twist my arm, please?

Thank GOD for higher gas prices! My sweetie agreed we should buy a new Harley Davidson full dresser this spring for our numerous long road trips. Do you know how long I've been trying to talk her into that? She wants the helmets with piped in radio and intercom. I could just turn her off.
