I just got a tattoo on Saturday on my inner wrist (my 2nd, my 1st one was on my back and I got it several years ago so I forgot! Lol) and I was told by the artist to use A&D ointment for 3 days which I did and then use regular unscented lotion (starting today). So my question is how often do I need to apply lotion? I don't want to overdo it. So any answers you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

MAN I MISS GETTING TATOO'S!! I would put lotion in the morning. Then later on in the afternoon around 2 or 3 o'clock. Then before I went to sleep. That seemed to be all right with me. Just use a little bit and that should do it.

Use the lotion between 2-3 times per day. You really don't want to use it any more than that. Completely lathering it in lotion can irritate it and make it itch even worse than it probably already does.
