Is it possible to be pregnant again so soon
Hey everyone
I haven't asked a question in a while, last time I did it was about my pregnancy possibly ending in miscarriage. Well unfortunately my pregnancy did end in miscarriage on January 21 and it was awful- I was 11 weeks two days but the baby had stopped developing at 6 weeks. I was having a hard time moving on emotionally but I'm doing better now. After my miscarriage me and my fiancé were careful the first couple times but then we weren't anymore. Anyhow its been 5 weeks and I never got my period again. I saw my midwife today because she wanted to make sure I was getting better and my hcg was gone and the last time I had a blood test my hcg read 9 ( after the miscarriage) which before it was 1800 so it def. dropped back then ( that was like 3-4 weeks ago). Anyhow my pregnancy symptoms disappeared and I was fine. Now 3 or 4 weeks later, I feel pregnant again. Early pregnant symptoms like the last time and so I asked her if I could be pregnant. She seemed worried and lectured us about not waiting. ( I know it was stupid not to wait at least one cycle since now I will have a higher m/c possibility rate). Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about hcg levels and all. If it was at 9, it most likely would have dropped to zero in the past 4 weeks, is that correct to think? And so is it possible that I am pregnant again so soon? I def. feel pregnant and I'm so worried. If I took an at home test would it be positive from the left over hcg or would that 9 now be down to zero? I have to wait 3 weeks and if I still don't get my period I have to have blood work to see. I'm just wondering if anyone knew anything about any of this ( I'm sorry its so complicated to explain) thanks so much!
