Location of the flamer sensor in a Bryant Model 383K Furnace
Where is the exact location of the flamer sensor in a Bryant Model 383K Furnace? Is there a better diagram than I currently have in my user's manual? It is really for the installer.

I know that I need to sand down/ steel wool the flame sensor, but can't remember the location. Thanks in advance for your help!

Located near the pilot lite in the burner area. The pilot actually touches the sensor.

The flame sensor should be fairly easy to find. It would be a metal probe about an inch or two long, thinner than a pencil and it would be right in the main flame of the burners. If you have a flame style pilot it may be part of this assembly.

The flame sensor will be opposite side of your hot surface ignitor in front of the burners.
