I'm trying to find a movie from my childhood
I can't recall any of the actors or actresses, All I can recall is that it had to of been a late 1970's movie to the mid 80's, I recall watching it in the early 1990's (I was born in in 1985) The basics of the movie go as follows: A Mom and Dad are driving along in what I'd say is California, possibly the Nevada or Arizona deserts. All of a sudden their car is suspended in the air and continues to do so. They end up on a strange planet. The mother becomes the object of the ruler of this planets desire. While the dad is basically tossed aside. The ruler has a mind reading machine, and uses it on the father. The father basically ends up with other "slaves" who end up building troy like structures to fool the rulers army and to try and get thei women back. The ruler looks like thom from Fab 5 on the bravo network, the father is played by a male who is known in other movies to be a scum. He's got strawberry blonde hair and his hair style is like that of connan o'brians:confused: PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN
