What Vitamins should I Give my Pug Puppy?
What vitamins should I give my pug puppy.. Some say that I should give her vitamin c, but I read that I shouln't because it could damage her liver... Is it okay to give her multi vitamins that children usually take or babies take? Tnx

She should be okay without supplements as long as she is healthy. If you give her supplements it should be a puppy multivitamin OR a supplement targeted to a specific problem.

NO supplements needed except some digestive probiotics sprinkled on the food I would not give a multivitamin if u feed a balanced diet u may be giving too much.. which chow are u feeding all that will matter is that your feeding a complete diet? Some foods I think are great are. Natural Balance, Wellness, California Natural, and Innova.

It is NOT safe to give your dog children's vitamins! Dog chow is well balanced to meet your dogs nutritional needs, adding anything to their diet can throw off this balance. If you have some concern regarding your puppy's nutritional needs, please speak to your vet. There is a lot of misinformation on the web. We are only giving opinions and none of us are veterinarians to my knowledge. Best of luck to you and your new friend.
