My TV lost sound,how to fix it by myself?

First, I assume you've checked to make sure it's not something as simple as the mute button being on? Also, on my JVC there's a switch on the back that accidentally got flipped and I thought my sound was out too, but the fix was as simple as changing the switch setting. If that isn't the case, you can run an audio cable from the audio out connection to a stereo system or boombox and get sound that way.
