What would be an average time for someone to run 5 kilometers?

Just want a rough idea of time. I'm doing race for life this year and wonder what sort of time I should be aiming for...

Well, I ran the race for life this year and got 27 minutes,

But I would say 35-40 was a good time to get,

I've no idea... in answer to your question but did you see that guy tonight break the world record in Berlin?

His name was, Bolt, which was very apt,he is Jamacan and he ran the 200 meters in 19.19
It may have been 19... not totally sure exactly, but it was incredible... and against the wind.. WOW
