    Probation violation
I recently got probation in South Carolina. 5 years or pay $5000. I no longer live in South Carolina. And I was wondering if I violate, when South Carolina finds out that I'm not in South Carolina. And they find out where I now live will they come there to arrest me I no longer live in the state of South Carolina

    Hello tj:

Yes, I think if they find you in another state that they will bring you back.

Why did you leave South Carolina and not tell them? Did you think they'd just forget about you? No, not in a heartbeat. You got a pretty good deal of 5 years probation or pay $5,000. I would have taken the 5 years probation and stayed knowing the consequences are pretty tough once the state finds you are gone. If you are stopped by the police in another state and they run your name they will find out that you are wanted in South Carolina for probation violation and hold you in their comfy jail until South Carolina can come and claim you.
