    Which should be illegal
Since I have joined this wonderful site, I got to read all sorts of advice and opinions. I enjoy reading other people's points of views. I am interasted in hearing more.

Now I have a couple of questions. After thinking about each one carefully, please explain between the two why one should be more illegal than the other.

Please no arguing. I just want your p.o.v. and I promise I will not post against it.

    1.) Marijuana or abrotion

    2.) Pornography or prostitution

Pot should be legalized and taxed like cigarettes and regulated like booze and not sold to minors.
Abortion should be up to the woman to choose.
Pornography is harmful to those who participate in this display and those who view this display.
Prostitution has been around so long it would be hard to stop or eliminate. The johns should be punished as much as the ones who sell their bodies. This is not done unless it is a sting operation by the police. This is NOT a victimless crime in the least. There should be much stricter laws governing this activity.

Child prostitution should be totally illegal and not encouraged by certain organizations I won't name and those participating in it whether they be a madam, pimp or customer should have extremely harsh sentences imposed.

    There's my two cents.

Thank you! I meant out of the two, which one would be the one that should be illegal. If you had to pick...

I don't think any of those should be illegal.

Marijuana- I think it should be legalized and taxed there are enough people out there that use it why not make it legal and tax it. I think Pot makes you stupied but so does alcohol. At least this way there would be some good come out of it.

Abrotion- Now I'm very strong in my opnion on this one. Making abrotions illegal did not work. We tried it. Do you know how many women diead from getting or giving themselves bad abortions? It is just not right to tell a woman what she can and can't do with her body. It is none of the goverments business. So many ladies fought for the right to have an abortion and now we want to just throw that away again. What do you tell the 13 year old child that has been raped and ends up pregnant that she has to carry this un-wanted child. What about insest? Should the child have to suffer through a life like that? I know there are women out there that do abuse this right. But I think in the long run it is better that we have the right to choose.

Pornography- I think Pornography is another one of those things that people are going to look at no matter what. I think child Pornography is wrong and should be regulated to make sure it does not get out to the public and the people that make it should be put in jail. But Pornography it self is a natural thing who has not looked at some form of porn?

Prostitution- This is another issue that should be legalized. Brothals that are legally run are clan and safe. Prostitution is the oldest proffession. Sex is one of those fundamental needs and there should be a legal out let for it. Where the women/men are tested for diseases and have security to keep them safe.

But that is just my opnion

There aren't degrees of illegality, it's a simple black and white concept, either Illegal or NOT.
So you whole premise is flawed from the start.

I was asking for opinions. If you had to choose, though you don't believe it should be illegal, which one.

Marijuana I am not for it but what can I say

Abortion I am pro life and I believe people should be given both sides rather than the one sided pro abortion side. Pro abortionists advocate abortion to unsuspecting pregnant girls that it is not a life until it is born. They don't show them what a fetus goes through to be aborted. They say the 'well for the life of the mother if her life is at risk' but that is slim to none and why should it justify other abortions? Why aren't pro life people allowed to teach the sanctity of life and what actually goes on during an abortion?

Pornography -depends -the soft porn has spiraled way out of control I think.

Prostitution- definitely illegal it is not a victimless crime as twinkerdoodle said if no other victim the wife or girlfriend is.
But as with marijuana impossible to enforce.

Your question into itself is flawed. There is no comparison between the items ( well at least number one). It is like asking why beef should cost more than chicken or why speeding is worst than jaywalking.

Each has to be addressed on its own merits

    1. has an effect on actions and reactions. Has been known to be cut with worst drugs often to get people hooked. No real reason to be illegal, since beer and other drinking is not illegal,

    2. abortion : why is any killing illegal, this is why it should be illegal or greatly controlled. No one has the right to control the life or death of another innocent person

    3. porn, can be adictitive, can give a bad opinon of relationships with women.

    4. prostitution, same issues as above, needs to be controlled to eliminate disease.

Marijuana: Make it a state issue.
Abortion: Make it a state issue.
Pornography: As long as it's over 18 and consensual, make it a state issue.
Prostitution: As long as it's over 18 and consensual, make it a state issue.

Marijuana or abortion? That is like apples and oranges. I cannot even answer it. When you make something illegal, it does not stop the action. Just hides it. As in abortion - how many women went to backdoor butchers for their abortions and had severe consequences (health wise)?

I can answer pornography versus prostitution - prostitution. Why? When I see young girls and boys forced into that trade at ages when they should be planning to go to Friday night's pep rally and football game with their classmates - I cannot explain the depth of my anger towards those who use children to ply sex and make money off them.

    1) Marijuana or abortion - Marijuana should be legalized as a form of recreation, like alcohol. Abortion should be illegal; the 'freedom of choice' (a misnomer if ever there was one) was made beforehand; and most-certainly is not a 'freedom', as decreed by the supreme court (another misnomer and cruel joke).

    2) Pornography or prostitution - Neither should be illegal. We need to keep our pastors, priests, and rabbis occupied.
