Should my circulating pump always be running?
My circulating pump is always running. I have a 3 zone setup and an adjustment dial ranging from 180 to 240 degrees for the circulating pump. It's set to 220. Is that correct and what does it do?

Your system was set up to constantly have the circulator motors run. You can change the controls and have it so the circulator shuts off until the zone valve calls for heat. This might be a expensive changeover.

The temperature setting seems to be a bit high to me but I have not seen or inspected your system. Fan coil systems should have a minimum of 190 degree water and other systems like baseboard lower.
