    Door chime -- Nutone LA174WH and IMA 516
    Does any bosy worked with the above mentioned combo? Please let me know. I am having hard time making my door chime work.

    Two wires go to push button -- one wire from push button goes to 24 volt transformer

    Two wires go to chime -- one wire from chime goes to 24 volt transformer

    Two remaining wires are wire nutted together

    How can you say the Nutone Recessed Westminster Chime Model LA174WH, door chime needs 24 Volts to work? Where are you getting your information from? The company supply the unit in the box with a 16 VOLT, 10 VATT transformer... If a 24V was needed wouldn't the company package it with the size instead of a 16V, 10VA?
