Okay so me and this guy were in a relationship for a year. I needed a break and let him go. We always did everything together and we were still friends. But then things got bad and he he says I pushed him away. So we broke up for good and we went a while without talking. But I need him in my life. He tell me to prove to him I care. How??

Big red flag, and a warning. First, you don't need him in your life, you may want him, but don't need him. Second, He doesn't care about you as a person, Your just a piece of meat, to enjoy as he wants. He is using your own feelings to manipulate you into a position to get what he wants. If some cares they NEVER ask you to prove it. Don't let him play with your feelings, and treat you like his 'ho.Thats exactly what a pimp tells his beeyatches, "prove your love". Tell chili pimp to bugger off!!!

I am like in the SAME stage as you are in right now. You don't have to prove anything to him, if he cared about you he wouldn't ask you to prove it. You may want to leave him alone. Don't talk to him for a couple weeks. He will probably come back. And when he does come back think about it before you do get back with him. Are you going to be in the same stage again. Will things be different?

You first have to be completely honest with yourself that you want to be with him and not just because you are lonely. Let him know that you love him and only him. I am going through the same thing right now, where my FIANCE' ask for some time apart(what is up with that ) whatever caused you to want time apart it had better be resolved don't bring that back into your new beginings. I'm telling you what I want from a guy's p.o.v. hope that I helped.

I'd have to say that T-man's advice above certainly did not sound like his usual advice. I'd have to say, I don't think it's a big read flag. Sometimes we want our love one to prove they love us. Sure it puts us in a difficult spotlight, but sometimes we have to do what we have to do. In this case it's to prove the love. I prove my love daily to my girlfriend. Maybe he wants that from you!

I agree somewhat, being nice is proof, and caring, telling a female to prove her love is about CONTROL, since you know how she feels already, trust me, its about making someone do as he want.

She is not his g/f, she wants him back, and he wants to know how she can prove that, Gimme a break, if I love you is not enough. What else does he want. You prove your love dailey because you want to and know how and what she appreciates, I'm sure, not because she told you to.
