There's a guy on the scene... 23 I'm 21.

My heart and mind are telling me nothing at all

When he's texting me all the time, I can't be doing with it, its too full on and too much, but when he doesn't text in a while I think about him, check my phone, sort of miss him, and smile when I get a text

What does it mean? I wouldn't like to say I'm confused, but my heart is honestly telling me nothing either way, so I don't know what to do as I can't follow my heart!

Would I know if I liked him, or is the fact I can find him annoying enough to say no I'm not interested.

Perhaps you just miss the attention, I don't see how you can base a decision on communication via technology.. no real communication... I don't see what your heart or mind can really tell you in something that is mere words. Written on a device in which is not the heart. Do you actually see him? Or talk?

Well yeah I've seen him out in town of a night loads, we have had a history as in few dates, and drunken mistakes!! It just didn't go anywhere, as his consistency to text me annoyed me, but I don't know if it is attention because when he is giving it me it annoys me a little. Perhaps I am confused as to what I want, I don't know!

If something has you second guessing, then I think you know your answer... when you want someone... nothing, nothing will keep you away.. You know? So if someone is annoying you by making nice gestures, it means that you are just not that into them.. Simple..

Not feeling anything is a felling, there is a diffrence from missing attention and feeling a connection.

And any relastionship based on a few dates and some drunken activities has little to be based on to start with

You already have your answer in your first sentence - your heart and mind are not into this guy. Stay away from him and tell him to leave you alone. Just to be sure, block his phone number. Do not answer any emails from him, or take any phone calls (if you have a land line phone). Establishing a No Contact policy concerning this guy would be a wise decision for you.

You cannot use a few drunken mistakes as a solid base for a relationship. That would be one of the worst mistakes you could ever make.

You have a lot of tuition, you just aren't paying attention to it. Drunken mistakes can be costly, as in time, money, or emotion. That may be a problem in itself, bad choices. This relationship is not very healthy, and is confusing you, because a part of you is saying no not him, and a part is saying why not. In that situation, leave him alone, as the possibility for a big mistake, drunk, or not, is very high.
