Hi, I hope someone can help me. My husband and I are in MAJOR debt and way behind on our credit card payments etc. The only thing we managing to cover every month is our house and car. Can we be jailed for bad debt?

You can't be jailed for bad debt (at least not here unless it involves fraud). It is just not a good place to be for anyone when they come after you for the money. If you use the search feature at the top of the screen and enter the debt subject you may come up with some answers and thoughts from other members in the same boat. Do some reading.
