How do I potty train a chihuahua?

My pup has some Chi in her. The way I am triaining her is to take her outside every hour, right after a nap, right before bed and first thing in the morning. I take her to the same spot every time. Use a command that she can link with going potty, (hurry up, do your thing, go potty etc.) keep repeating it until she potties. As soon as she starts to do her thing be quiet. When she is done pet her and praise her and immediately bring her back inside.
