    Blower motor over heating.
My heat blower motor on my unit in the attic burned up. I replaced the blower motor with what apex recommended 3/4 hp. My blacb wire for high in wired but hardly any air coming from vents. Worse, this new one is over heating and trying to burn up also. I didn't change the capacitor. What is causeing this motor to over heat. Also any suggestions on getting more air from vents? We are cold and I am frustrated.

Anytime you change a motor you should change the capacitor. Cut the system off and change the capacitor before the new motor burns up

Thanks, what about the 3/4 hp motor getting more air out of the vents. I barely feel any coming out.

If you have a bad or wrong size run capacitor it will run slow and over heat. If the blower motor is wired wrong and using two different speeds at the same time, it will run slow and over heat.
