I have taken the birth control pill since I was sixteen. I am now 27. I have always had regular periods. I quit taking the birth control pill in October. My periods continued to be regular though. In the month of January I bled slightly but by no means was it what I had been doing. In December I had unprotected sex with someone beginning in December. I have taken two pregnancy tests since I was supposed to have my last period and they have both been negative. I have shown no signs ex: nausea, vomiting, etc. but yet I have not started yet. Keep in mind I have had a lot of stress on me as well more this past month than ever before-could this be a key factor in my problem. Please help me on my problem I am so scared because I do not want a child by this individual I was seeing in December.

If both tests have come back negative, and you want to be sure, the next is a trip to the doctors, many of us here can give you advice, but no one can truly answer your question but a doctor.

Those tests are usually right on. You probably aren't and stress can play a huge role in your life. If you don't start in the next couple of days I would have a blood test done just to be sure. When I got pregnant the stick picked it up instantly if that makes you feel any better.
