    Electric Baseboard Heaters
Hello All. I have electric baseboard heaters in every room in my 2 bedroom apt. I tried to do some research on the ones that I have.(Federal Pacific) No luck. Not sure how old they are either. It seems that in order for the apt to reach a comfortable stage, the stats are on 80' all day. I have a small child and need this to work, but my electric bill is out of control.. PLEASE somebody help me troubleshoot this problem. Thank You:confused:

Do you have 110 vt or 220 vt baseboard heaters.

But electric base board heaters just cost a lot to use, Depending the outside temp, the insulatoini of the home, They are not a great choice for use.

The numbers on electric heat thermostats mean NOTHING.
Like Fr. Said, electric heat is EXPENSIVE.

How's the insulation in your place?
    Windows?
    Doors?
    Weatherstripping?

I'd look in those places first.

Do NOT touch (change, alter, or repair) anything electric if you are renting this place!
