    Changing location of shower drain
How do you change the plumbing from the end of a tub, to a now new shower stall with a center location. It is a slab house. WHat do I need to do

I live in a area where all our houses are on slabs so I'm well aware of the hassle you're going to go through. First remove the tub and trap. Now take up the slab and trench over to where the shower drain will set. You may now pipe over and install the trap and raiser for the shower drain to connect to. You may reuse your tub valve for your shower. All you have to do is remove the 1/2" copper from the bottom of the valve and close it up with a 1/2" brass threaded plug. Good luck, Tom
