Ok... I was supposed to get my period on the 17... I only had a little come out and the color was a brownish color... there was no red... it didn't fill up the tampon... during that time I was really sick... I thought that it could be because I was sick... but now I only have a cough... I have had bad cramps every once and awhile... I am 1 week late on my period... could I be pregnant??

Being sick could have very well affected your cycle. You could be late or skip your period altogether and not be pregnant.

But if you are a week late I would take a pregnancy test using your first mornings urine.
If it's negative... you could wait until when you are due next month and see if you have a period... or you could call your doctor and request a blood pregnancy test.
