I'm trying to move to canada, but first go for a visit. My name, as is my mother's name, are both on the title. Is there any way I can get written permission, or any type of verification that would allow me to take (and within 6 months to a year import) my car into canada without re-titling the car?

You could not even take the car from one state in the US to another state and move there without getting it registered and a new title.
