    Basement rough-in
I've seen a few of the posts w/ similar topics, and I think I'm on the right track. Just looking for confirmation from some experts. The center of the tub rough in drain is about 15.5" from the wall I'm puttting in and about 2" from the back wall I'm set to screw down. Question is, will a std. tub w/ walls hook up OK? OK to finish out these (2) walls, or should I get the tub before putting up the walls? Any other suggestions or comments appreciated.:)

    Pics attached. Thanks in advance!

Due to technical difficulties AskMeHelpDesks data base is down. I can no longer send or open attachments. This means I can't work on your problem until I can open the attachments that you posted. I apologize for the delay and promise that you will head up the list once the mods and admin. Get it back on line. Regards, Tom aka speedball1

We're back on line and I checked your photos. The typical rough in for a 60" tub is 15 1/2" off the back wall and 1 1/12" off the front plate. I would set the tub before finishing off the front wall. I don't forsee a problem but better safe then sorry. Don't forget to leave a 14 X14" access panel behind the front wall to service the tub. If you ever have to change the tub waste and overflow you'll thank me for reminding you. Good luck, Tom
