Usually when I use to be able to lose weight my face was the second place I would lose.
My stomach was always the last.

Sometimes not too much will happen. I got emotionally sick when I was about 15 or 16 and I lost a lot of weight. I went from a size 9 to a size 6 in about a month. (I have gained it all back and more now that I am 18) I lost some in my cheek bones, almost gave more of a hollowness instead of livelyness. Sometimes we only see ourselves one way until we completely change. I don't know you, but my guess is that at 128 pounds you don't need to lose too much weight, especially in your face. Regardless though I wish you the best!

    How tall are you?
Often your face will be one of the first places to show the weight loss. But some people just have naturally chubby cheeks and it won't change. Just try to stay healthy and the rest should take care of itself.

Btw, 128 pounds is about 58kg, right? That really doesn't sound too heavy for a 16-year old.
    What is your height?
And are you male or female?

~ Let me tell you a quick story.

~ It all started around 6th grade. I weighed 110 lbs. I wanted to weigh under 100. No matter how much I dieted and excersized, I just went up, 115, 120. When I was in 9th grade I weighed 125 lbs. By that time I decided that I should weigh 115 or under. I excersized and dieted, and even made myself throw up. For 3 years this continued, everyday I'd throw up 3 or 4 times a day. I overcame Bulimia, my junior year of high school, (especially because it wasn't helping!) I still dieted and excersized. I was cheerleader at my school for extra excersize.

~ Ya know, my weight did not even Budge. At one point for a while I was at 120. That of course wasn't good enough for me and I continued on downward spiral with myself image.

~ I graduated from high school in 2000. I weighed 125. I finally gave up on the battle I had been having with my "weight problem" for over 8 years. Everyone graduating with me was the same size or bigger than I was.

~ Through the years, I have gained weight, 137 being the highest I have ever been. And I looked fine. I still worked out regularly and ate healthy food for the most part. I felt horrible at that point that I had made myself so miserable all those years when I weighed 125. So I made a promise to myself (finally at 24) that I would make the best of what I had to work with. I had cute clothes that fit me, (ya know that makes all the difference, when your clothes fit right and aren't too tight. That they are your size and not two sizes too small I mean.) and I felt good.

~ Even time has gone by since then. I am 26 now. Guess how much I weigh, 125. I don't even care anymore. I love 125, lol. It's not even a lot. And neither is 130.

~ So please don't beat yourself up. It didn't help me, as I guess the moral of the story is that no matter how much I beat myself up and abused my body, my weight stayed the same. The important thing is what kind of a person you are, being happy with what you got. Don't let 128 hold you down, like it did to me.

~ Sorry that was longer than I expected it to be... But I hope it helps shed a little perspective.

~ About your cheeks, Excersizing and eating healthy, the others are right, you can see it in your face quicker than most other parts of your body. Have you thought of experimenting with subtle makeup to play off your eyes, or lips?
