I am replacing an old Rheem mercury thermostat with a Honeywell 7-Day programmable unit. I am not sure what kind of unit we have but there is a heating unit in the attic and an outdoor a/c unit. With the old thermostat both indoor and outdoor units would run but now the outdoor unit does not run when the heat is on. The heat does not seem to work as well now either. Did I wire the new unit right?
