I have a french bulldog puppy who's 4 months, he just within the last two hours got dia-poo and his last movement had dia-poo and then bright red blood. Is this bad or can I wait it out to see if it gets better. What can I feed him to make his stool harden up again. Oh and he hasn't had all his shots yet he still needs the two final shots. He hasn't gotten sick or anything yet. Should I be overly concerned? Thanks and please give me some advice, I would go to the vet but I'm low on cash unless it's dire.

Blood in the stools is not a good thing. Make a doctor's appointment, there are numerous things that could cause that.

Agreed. It could be a problem of hookworms, or you could potentially have something much more dangerous on your hands, such as parvo, and only your vet can tell you exactly what the problem is. I would suggest you go as soon as possible, because if it is a more dangerous sickness, it can go downhill fast, especially with a smaller type dog like a frenchie.
