I have been married for almost 3 years. Last year my husband and I had a very difficult time. When he took a new job in PA, he purchased land and had a home built on it. His name only is on the deed for the land and also on the mortgage. While the house was being built we decided to stay together and work things out. I added over 100,00 dollars to the construction of the house. Now the home is built but he does not make a move to add my name to the deed of the house. What are my rights and how am I protected in case we have another crisis is our marriage. I am paying 1/3 of all the bills since he makes more than 3 times as much. I am OK with that but I feel that I am not protected in case of a divorce. My whole life savings are in this house. If anyone could help I would appreciate it very much.

If you can prove you paid in that money, then you would likely have a claim against the house in case of a divorce. In a divorce the property settlement is generally a matter of negotiation. So you would have your lawyer work towards getting you reimbursed for your contribution to the home.
