    About earth.
    Why people will be thrown eastwards it earth stops rotating... and why people at equator will suffer the worst?

    People will be thrown eastward as the earth currently rotates in that direction. The sun rises in the east.

    People at the equator suffer it the worst... because they are technically going the "fastest"

    Imagine a ball spinning. Put your finger on top, it doesn't go anywhere. It stays in the same spot. Imagine putting your finger a quarter of the way down... it goes fast. However, halfway (equator), it has to travel the most distance in the same time. Therefore, it is going the fastest.
