The worst thing you can do is tempt a puppy with rich food. I see no indication in your question that the puppy is in critical condition requiring extreme measures. Doing so is a good start towards a fat, sickly, picky puppy that isn't getting the complete and balanced diet it needs.

It is quite possible it was poorly prepared to go to its new home and is too stressed to eat. Give it a few days with plenty of love and attention. If it doesn't start to eat in a few more days, get back with the vet.
