    Diabetes and pregnancy
Can people who have diabetes get prenant if they let it run high for a while before and during intercourse? I mean.. could that work or help out with not getting pregnant?

If they let what run high before and during intercourse? Sugar? If that's the case, there is no reason for that. Letting your sugar get high will only hurt you, not help you get pregnant.

Women with diabetes, type I and type II, get pregnant and have healthy babies every day.

I have Type II and am currently 3 months pregnant. Letting blood sugar levels run high for any reason is not smart. Letting levels run high just before or during intercourse will not have an impact on someone getting pregnant. Having blood sugars out of control either before, during or after pregnancy is both harmful to the mother and the child.
Curious to know if you have Diabetes yourself and where this thought of high levels helping in not getting pregnant might have come from.
