I'm never sure where to put some of my questions!

Basically---my mom just called, and my dad is in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.

He wasn't feeling well, and was having chest pains. They gave him nitro, and that helped, but they're taking him to the hospital for observation overnight.

I could just use your thoughts, prayers and well-wishes.

That actually sounds like positive news; in that, he received medical attention very quickly and now he is just under observation.

In Matthew 18:19 Jesus says:
Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Those are the scariest words one hears that a loved one is being rushed to the hospital... but it does sound positive that the nitro worked.. so could be a blessing this is happeneing, letting Dad know he may need to have some things looked at and tended to.

Your prayers worked, at least to some extent.

Dad didn't have a heart attack... all his bloodwork came back clean, and his EKG is fine.

They're keeping him overnight for observation, and running a few more tests, but it seems that he's in the clear for now.
