    High Water Pressure
When I flush my toilet it creates a violent burst of water. Water actually sprays out of the toilet bowl onto the surrounding area of the floor. Is there any way that I can slow this down so that water does not splash out of the bowl?

Unidentified... any chance you can post a picture via the "go advanced" button when you post next time.

If possible, take a picture of the inside of toilet TANK so we can get a good look at stuff in there... sounds to me like you have a pressure assist toilet there... get back to me.

If cannot post a pic. then try to describe the parts inside the tank. Thank you

You said bowl if you really meant tank, connect that little black tube from the flush valve to the pipe sticking up in the middle of the tank. Hint- Look in another toilet tank-
