What are the building code requirements for electrical service (e.g. 100 amp, 200 amp) and when did they come into effect for Ontario and/or Alberta Canada?

Repost on electrical site. The US requirements are based on square footage of house and known electrical requirements.

We can just move you over to electrical. Most codes can be gotten on line. Have you tried the Ontarion electric codes? I think its in its 23 printing. The Ontario Electrical Safety Code
