How long will my kitty labor for and when should I worry
 I'm not sure what to do I have 2 female cats and both got pregnant after we took in a young male cat being abused(my daughter thought he was a she! )
But after some time we realized he was no she cause the girls were pregnant.
At any rate the funniest thing, both of my girls went into labor at the same time with the same signs of LABOR.. or at least I think it was labor for both.
The 1st female went into labor around 1pm and is still in labor! I was so worried I even took her to the vets and he told me not to worry and gave her an OXYTOCIN shot and sent us home, and said she should start to labor and she definitely would w/the shot.. but we went all night and nothing and now this momment that I seek advice she is pushing again any suggestions out there I am willing to hear them...

I'm really angered by the loss of the litter my cat lost, what really gets me is two days prior I was at the vets why didn't they do a c-section they could have but he didn't, I swear on all of my being if he did they would have lived I felt them moving that day but again he didn't, should I just let it go or what, I'm watching my female walk around so sad my heart aches for her, we are very close my boo-boo and I any suggestions I'm willing to hear them, thanks

You generally don't want to do c-sections except in emergencies. Giving birth is a natural thing, and most times goes off without problems. Why would you expect a vet to do a c-section on a cat that is not showing any signs of problems, especially if, as you say, you could feel the kittens moving around at the visit? Keep in mind that a c-section is not risk-free, and there is a remote possibility that your cat could have died if he did one.

Sometimes things just don't go as we hope.
