Hi, I am a CT resident who works in NY. My Spouse Works in Ct. We file a joint tax return for Federal taxes. How should we file for CT State taxes?

You are a CT resident . I assume you file a joint return for your federal taxes - do the same with your state taxes. Be sure to take the credit for taxes you pay to NY state.

You will file both CT and NY return. On nonresident return for NY, report only the income from NY sources while working in NY and on the CT return report all your income and also claim credit for taxes paid in NY.
