Does it drain out right away or does it drain out over a period, say 5 minutes?
There is a little hose on mine that feeds of the valve that fills the tank and it goes down a tube that fills the bowl while the tanks being filledQuote:

It takes about 45 seconds to drain the bowl, after the filling of tank is completed.
After water in bowl has mysteriously disappeared, hold down float in tank until bowl refills again. Do not flush.
If water disappears again you have a cracked toilet. If it does not you probably have a blocked vent pipe.
