How to make Extra Money with my Computer
Hi... I am looking for ways to make extra money using my PC (Laptop). I was divorced 3 years ago, and as the courts would have it, I have to pay a lot in support payments. I have a good job in IT, but a lot of my income goes toward the support payments. Just looking to make a couple of hundred dollars per month, to help out with the bills... I have done many searches, but they all sound like scams. If anyone can share ideas, it would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello,
I made a fair amount of money as an Amazon.com associate from 1997 through 2006 (website required) and a friend of mine works part-time answering calls from home for Home Depot Customer Service (computer required).

I know that if you open up a site and add Google AdSense to the site you can make a great amount of cash if your site is popular. But the site would be hard to manage I guess since you already have a job. I used to have free website a couple months ago and I used stragetically placed advertising to make it popular. I made about two thousand dollars a month thank to Google AdSense.

Da BigChamp: If your method is repeatable you could probably make even more than that showing people how. My site is about a month old and I've made a total of 15$ so far. How did you manage to rake in 2000$/month in just a few months? And why aren't you still doing it?

I stopped doing it cause the server that hosed my site got messed up badly. So I'm going to start it up again as soon as I can. It really depends on the content of your site, you also need to make your site un copyable. If people can copy and paste content from your site to there hard drive then people will not have a need to go to the site. The way my site was, you could not copy anything but images from the site. So people had to keep coming back to my site to see what they wanted, and so they see more ads to click. You have to think like the person who is viewing your site. You may also want to look up a little information about psychology, certain things will register in a viewers mind and keep them coming back.

Doesn't bother me, I was just wonder if you knew something I didn't. It would be the first time some spammer has posted a leading question under one account then created a second account to "answer" the question with their BS. That doesn't SEEM to be the case here, but who knows.
And to seriously answer the OP. If you want to make money on the internet it's just like making money anywhere else. Provide a service or product that people find value in and get the word out to as many people as possible. I run an Ad/Donation supported technology blog and I post on several help forums to drive traffic to the site. My goal is to be pulling in 100$/day by the end of this calendar year. I update the site daily and I generally write an article to answer any question that I see more than twice on the forums. Then when it comes up again I just link people back to my article. It's working reasonably well so far. The site has been up for less than 30 days and now averages 50-60 viewers per day. Each article I write generally adds somewhere from 3-10 viewers per day. Hopefully I'll hit my goal.
