    Fatherly rights?
If you're the father of a child and are wanting to sign over parental rights does the mother of the child have to sign also. Also are you still responsible for child's support.

    dunno
If a judge even allows you to give up your rights, you would still be responsible for child support unless someone adopts the child.

You are only giving up your rights to be a part of the child's life... not your responsibility to support them.

I doubt that most judges would even allow him to sign over his rights, he does not have to use them, so why sign them over, he is only thinking he does not have to pay, but signing over rights ( except for adoption) does not stop child support, if it did, there would not be 1000's of dead beat dads sitting in jail tonight.
