Double pole or single pole switch 4 reversing fan
I currently have a switch for my fan and another one for my fan light.
I would like to reverse the fan movement. Would I use a double pole double throw or a single pole double throw switch?

    NEITHER.

Unless the fan was designed to be reversed from the wall you will NOT be able to do this.
Typically such fans include the appropriate wall switch.

It may have a reversing switch, look on side or top of fan. The built in switch on fans use
A double pole double throw switch.

True, if it's a paddle fan?
