Engine turns over, no fire, no fuel
Have a 92 festiva that changed water pump on and when the key is turned to on the fuel pump does not turn on and there is no fire at the plugs. Have tore it all back down and checked all the wires and timing belt, all seems to be okay. Checked alldata's service manual and did the pin point tests and the main relay is okay the fuel pump works when a 12 volt battery is connected to it. Replaced computer from a working car and still the same problem. Was told to check the main fuse link that it would cause this problem. When the main fuse link is removed the motor does not turn over and no dash lights. Tried to read out the error codes with the check engine light but found the light does not come on. Found the connector under the hood and did the test with a volt meter, this shows that the check engine light is on all the time and no codes. Well I am stumped any suggestions? Thanks for reading

The first repair was just a water pump replacement? If that is the case, you diconeected something either by error or unknowingly on purpose. Go back over everything you did . Most important oart of troubleshooting possible electrical problems... GROUNDS!!
