I live in Missouri and not sure which federal and state tax forms to use. Here is my info.

Country of Origin: India
F1: Aug 2005 - Dec 2006
OPT:Jan 2007-Oct-2007
H1b:Oct 1, 2007-till date

Would be great if you can please clearify on the following

1) Since I was in h1b less than 183 days; I need to use 1040NR or 1040NREZ. Am I right ?

2) What state tax form to use for Missouri ?

3) Is there any other form to submit ?

1) Correct.

2) File as a part-year resident due to your status as a student.

3) Yes. You must submit Form 8843 ONE LAST TIME with your Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ.
