    Wondows XP, windows question
Recently whenever I open a window it is minimized. This happens with all previously used windows. Is there a way to set my PC so all windows will open maximized?

    Resize the Internet Explorer Window

To resize the Internet Explorer window, move the mouse pointer to the lower-right corner of the Internet Explorer window, and then drag the window until it is the size you want.

Once the Internet Explorer window is the size you want, quit and restart Internet Explorer.

    Hi, roger,
Normally, this will work with any windows system.
Maximize the window to what you want.
Then, instead of clicking on the X at the top right, click on File, then Close.
The next time you open any windows, they should all be maximized.
This might not work, but maybe worth a try. I do wish you good luck.

Either I'm more of a newbie than I thought or I can't read. Neither of the methods work. Windows continue to open in half page size. One link refers to an IE page with a globe in upper left corner. Can't page that either.

You think maybe I'm on a MacIntosh?

    Just kidding

Found something that worked, I closed all windows reopened a new one then dragged the edges to maximize it, then closed it. Now all seem to work.
