    3rd Probation violation in Michigan
All right so I was on probabtion for possession of marijauan and minor in possession of alcohol. I was sentenced to 18 months probation. I received another MIP about 6 months into my probation and got extended probation and 5 days in jail because of my lawyer, judge wanted 10. I left for school and was told to report to the probation officer the summer I came home from school. At school I received two MIP's in back to back nights. The first night they came into my dorm and saw beer, I refused to blow. The second night the police just got a call that I was drunk. The police didn't even offer me a breathalizer and I had nothing on me yet I still got another MIP. I moved out to Arizona shortley after and am now awaiting my papers. What's my best bet for least amount of time in jail? Is there any chance of getting rid of the second MIP? What would be the penalty for failure to appear? Someone please help me I'm desperate.

Failure to appear does not get rid of your MIP, in fact it only makes it worst and normally will get a warrant for your arrest.

Part of it, is that you are not learning, that is what probation is for, and if you keep MIP you are going to end up in jail for months. It is possible to happen this time you need a serious attorney.
A lot will depend on the judge, if this is a college town, a few of the judges do not take MIP serious, so laywer and hope
